Where my voice meets purpose
Advocacy is at the heart of everything I do. I focus on issues that shape the lives of survivors, families, and everyday people navigating complex systems.

Areas I Advocate For
My Approach
My approach to advocacy is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and the belief that everyone deserves to be supported with dignity and care. I lead by listening first—not fixing, assuming, or rushing someone’s process. To me, advocacy means meeting people where they are, honoring the fullness of their stories, and ensuring they don’t have to navigate difficult systems alone.
Whether supporting survivors, individuals facing mental health challenges, families experiencing resource insecurity, or community members seeking clarity, my goal is to make support more accessible, more human, and more honest.
I lead with softness, structure, and truth—because healing requires all three.
The work I do today
My advocacy today is shaped by the people who showed up for me, helped me find my footing, and reminded me that I didn’t have to navigate life’s hardest seasons alone. Their compassion taught me the power of community, and I want to extend that same care to others.
Through SAMA, I continue to create spaces for mental health awareness, healing, and connection. I hope to host creative and wellness workshops where people can come as they are, explore their creativity, meet others, and find community without the pressure to have everything figured out.
I’m also working toward bringing my book, Becoming the Person I Needed, to life—a reminder for those navigating difficult seasons that they are not alone, that their stories matter, and that becoming yourself is a journey worth honoring.
Whether through advocacy, creative expression, community initiatives, or storytelling, I want my work to help people feel supported, connected, and a little less alone.
Because sometimes, the support that helps us find our footing becomes the very support we learn to offer others.
